The MATTERHORN!
It was really neat. A bit of a long train ride but even that was fun. A great way to travel with a baby for sure. She slept, looked out the window and played. It was so easy.
I think these old buildings in Zermatt are really neat. I cant figure out exactly what they were for though, as they look to small for people to live in. Quite possibley for animals.
Downtown Zermatt. Quite a few people but made for great people watching. We had lunch at this restuarant that was on a corner with big windows which made it really easy to just sit and watch people walk by.
Davis took this picture from the train on our way from Visp up to Zermatt. Its a glacier. Hard to appreciate how amazing it really looks from just a picture. The blue of the ice is alot more visable in person.
This is on the train from Visp to Zermatt. On the way down, Isabelle was sitting in Ueli's lap and could not stop staring at the train conductor's red vest as he stood talking to the people across from us. As soon as he turned to walk away, both of her hands went straight out and grabbed the bottom of his vest. We just laughed. He was all smiles as well and turned around to say hi to her. She grab his finger and just kept staring at him. Was really funny.
This was on the train from Luzern to Bern.
We set Isabelle's carry bag up on the seat in a way that she could just sit there on her own and play and look out the window. Of course she also slept there. Worked out really well. That bag has to be one of the best buys we ever made. We can use it for so many things.
We decided to make a real full day of it, so instead of just changing trains in Bern we got off for an hour and walked around. A very pretty city.
