Always a topic when you have a little baby. Isabelle does not do to bad. I never have to get up with her in the night which is wonderful but now that we have hit the 3 month mark I am wanting to get her in a better habit of spending a bit more time in her own bed and also, falling asleep on her own. She falls asleep great on her stomach during the day so I am now just going
to carry on with that into the evening. Then before we go to bed I turn her onto her side. Also, as suggested by the baby nurse, as Isabelle was always wanting in bed with us, I put my night shirt in with her from the night before. Worked great last night and she stayed in her own bed until 3a. Went to bed at 9p. I gave her the pacifier a couple of times but that was it. However....at 3a her little hands were so cold and, well, my boobs were so full, I put her back in with us. We all slept well again until Ueli's alarm went off at 7a.(Was awake for 1/2 an hour and is now back in bed asleep). Not sure what to do about the cold. I could not believe how cold her little hands were. Did not seem to bother her and then rest of her body was warm so not sure how much of a problem it is or not. Even with the heater on at night, the room tends to get cooler during the night. Something to work on. :-)
